Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. Role Summary

The content strategist role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and articulate innovative solutions through research, problem-framing, and copywriting for a wide array of contexts – from marketing through interactive content, and immersive experience storytelling. You have a love of language, and strong awareness of visual & popular culture and trends – and thrive in synthesizing these worlds to deliver relevant, emotive, and, influential copy.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

  • Craft clear, compelling, and cohesive stories, unifying creative concepts, insights, strategy, and design solutions.
  • Crafting all forms of copy required to serve MSG Sphere content and experiences
  • Collaborate on the development of pitches, presentations, and creative treatments, including problem framing, solutions approach, creative concepts, and supporting tactics.
  • Research, organize, and prioritize content, bringing it to life through compelling narratives.
  • Provide quality assurance, proofing and editing copy for consistency.
  • Play an essential role in the conception and communication of ideas.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a copy writing or content strategy role in a creative studio, consultancy, or marketing agency
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent long and short form writing skills, in multiple styles, formats, and voices
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; precise, tactful, and articulate
  • Ability to make the complex simple and compelling
  • Relevant experience in multimedia content, events, film, and brand
  • Active listener, able to take a verbal brief and self-initiate work
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
  • A self-starter with excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple projects

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
