Role Summary

This role will assist in the daily management of social platforms for MSG Entertainment venues, including but not limited to Madison Square Garden, Hulu Theater at MSG, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. He/She will be responsible for maintaining the social editorial calendars, and produce compelling content that focuses on driving awareness, engagement and audience growth. This person must have superb written skills, an impeccable attention to detail and must have the ability to a craft strong social voice for all MSGE venues that is authentic, elevated and relatable.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

  • Deep understanding of all major social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.), with the ability to best tailor the appropriate creative for the most effective results.
  • Develop and maintain social editorial calendars, including copywriting, scheduling and posting.
  • Act as a brand steward throughout all social content creation, working closely with Marketing Strategy and Creative Services to ensure all representation is in line with brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Source user-generated content and assist with community/influencer management.
  • Support PR, ticket sales and marketing-related campaigns, as well as other company
  • Monitor performance of campaigns against established KPIs and work closely with Insights and Analytics teams to pull results and analyze data for optimization.
  • Research competitors, industry trends and emerging technology.
  • Live, real-time event coverage onsite.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in live music, entertainment, events or agency.
  • Healthy appetite for events, music, television, pop culture, entertainment and current news.
  • Versatile interpersonal skills and professionalism to work across multiple environments and departments, including interaction with players.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of managing multiple projects at once and delivering on time.
  • Ability to work autonomously yet also able to sync accordingly with full cross-department planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Google Docs and Social Analytics. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:  

  • Travel between venues. Limited travel otherwise.

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
